If your are in urgent need to book your airport transfer then email Barrie@barrieingram.co.uk or call 08002118290 using option 3. This is an out of hours option and you will be calling some one out.
A deposit must be paid to secure your booking. A text/ email will be returned to you within 30 minutes of you making the booking during office hours to confirm the details. You will be required to text/ email back “Confirmed”. The booking is then considered made on the system. Within this message will be your confirmation of your deposit paid and remaining return fare due on your outward journey. Customers are always asked to call the week day before their outgoing journey within office hours (9.00am to 17.00pm) to make sure all the booking details are the same. At this point they can be informed of driver details and mobile phone contact.
On your outward Journey you will be handed two copies of a document that contains all the return journey and driver details for you to check and sign. You will be required to hand one copy back the driver for our records and retain one for your use on the return journey. It will have the name and mobile number of the driver collecting you, which is usually the same driver taking you out. This is useful as sometimes your mobile may have a low battery or misplaced. That way the paper document helps remind you of the number to call for your pickup. We think of every thing.
Note: There are rare occasions when Barries Cars Ltd can change the pickup time to accommodate the smooth running of the operation in relation to traffic conditions and other services provided as long as it is within 12 hours and text or email has been sent to the customer that originally booked. If this happens there will be no change to the agreed fare.
If there is a delay in collection due to traffic or weather conditions no reimbursement will be due for delays and stress. However, if after a complaint has been lodged and it turns out that it was a fault of Barries Cars Ltd, we will endeavor to make good at a maximum of a full refund of the leg of the journey on dispute depending on the circumstances. In no circumstances must a refusal of payment be made with the driver or arranged discount be made with the driver.
